Tactical Lifesaver

Texas Tactical is proud to offer Tactical Lifesaver Training. This training will give you the knowledge and basic tools you need in order to make immediate lifesaving interventions, should an emergency arise. This training gives you the understanding on why you would use these skills, when you would use these skills and what tools you would use in specific instances. You are not training to be a doctor, EMT or Paramedic, but these skills that you will be taught will help save your life or that of someone else when seconds count. This is an introductory class and we will show you how to continue medical training if you would like to.

This course is approved as PSB continued education through Texas DPS and we are a qualified CE school with qualified PSB instructors.

A doctor, in the field, will not do any more for someone than what you will be taught. A doctor will use these exact same skills and tools which you will, in order to sustain a life until they can get to a hospital. Once a patient gets to the hospital, the doctors will “fix” the injury. Your training will sustain the injured person long enough for them to get to permanent care. In many cases if this type of training is not used, you or someone you love could die from a major bleed in under 30 seconds.

Whether you’re treating yourself, a family member, or a complete stranger, the training you receive will give you the knowledge and confidence to take action. A few items you will be trained on include:

  • Tourniquets
  • Chest seals
  • Pressure bandages
  • Gauze
  • Improvised medicine

This training is the same training that all US Military personnel receive and is based on the standards set by the U.S. Department of Defense Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (Co-TCCC).

We will begin scheduling this class in the near future.
